Rename my Windows 11 PC or tablet

Microsoft has already confirmed that the October 5th will officially launch its new operating system, Windows 11, but also that same day it will take advantage of the enthusiasm of the users to launch Microsoft Office 2021.

Windows 11 brings a lot of interesting news, by the way, the Redmond have already released a new compilation which improves the performance of the devices that run it. Now, when we install the new Windows on our PC, the system assigns a name automatically, but we can change this from the configuration application.

To change the name of your PC or tablet Running Windows 11 you just have to follow the following steps:

  • We’re going to Setting or by pressing Win + I.
  • In the upper bar we see the name automatically established by the system, then we click on Rename. (top picture)
  • We write the name that we want our PC or tablet to have and then following.
  • Finally, we click on Restart now, for the changes to take effect.

Once our device has restarted we can confirm that the name has been changed successfully.

But not only this way we can change the name of our PC or tablet, we can also do it by going to Setting > System > System information and clicking on the option Change the name of this PC and ready.
