Spotify is making it easy to find the lyrics of your favorite songs , since the company is implementing a feature that allows you to view the lyrics of tons of songs right in the app. It was available in some countries, but is now available worldwide.

The new letters feature comes to smartphones, computers, game consoles and televisions for free and premium Spotify users. It is being rolled out around the world, so you can learn the lyrics of your favorite songs around the world.

To provide lyrics, Spotify has partnered with Musixmatch. Spotify says it is “bringing song lyrics to life through in-app access to most of our extensive track library.” Presumably, if there is a popular song whose lyrics you want to know, it will be there. If you’re looking for lyrics to some dark indie song, your mileage may vary.

The function is being implemented at the moment and I was able to use it in my iPhone . To access it on your mobile device, simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen in the Now Playing view. You will see a small colored tab with the word “Lyrics” on it, letting you know that the song is compatible with the feature.

If you are using the desktop app, you can click the microphone icon on the currently playing bar to bring up the lyrics. Open the Now Playing TV view, if you’re using that version of the app, then move to the lower right corner and click the letter button to activate it. Once enabled, you will see them playing their music until you disable the feature.

It’s definitely a great feature for Spotify, as knowing the lyrics of a song can change the way you you listen to the music . Now if we could get song tabs or sheet music on Spotify, the app would have it all.
