Microsoft Edge now allows screenshots

Microsoft Edge has become a serious competitor to Google Chrome, all thanks to the fact that Microsoft has provided it with really interesting functions. For a while, the Redmonds have been working on introducing the ability for users to perform screenshots to the web pages directly from your browser, and it appears that this function is already available.

Microsoft has formalized the availability of the new tool that will allow screenshots of web pages through Microsoft Edge. The incorporation of this function is not something that takes us by surprise, since at the time it was we had informed.

How to take a screenshot in Microsoft Edge

The new function is integrated in Microsoft Edge 98.0.1107.0 which is compatible to take screenshots to web pages and up to PDF files.

It is worth mentioning that the function is incorporated in the new version of the browser, then you no longer need to use third-party tools.

To do this, we just have to go to the Configuration Menu or by pressing the CTRL + SHIFT + S keys, there you will find the new function called «Acquire web display«, Which will allow you to select the part of the web page that you want to capture.

When you select the Copy button that will appear to take the screenshot, the screenshot will be copied automatically to the clipboard, which will allow us to paste it where we want.

Lastly, if this feature is important to you, you can add it as a shortcut to the toolbar just by right-clicking on the item.
