Fortunately, we don’t have to wait for the fall release to evaluate the promising update. The first beta version of the update is available in the public domain right now.
What you need to know before installing?
The new version of macOS was presented at the last WWDC presentation, receiving its name, “Mojave. ” In early beta access for developers, macOS 10.14 already looks good even compared to the release version 10.3, not to mention the first beta updates of High Sierra. You can get the developer profile at this link (https://yadi.sk/d/7LSfL9sX3X84uA). All you need is to download the file from the computer you want to install the update. Once the file is uploaded, you should run it and confirm the changes. The computer will then need to restart.
As usual, we strongly recommend that you back up your Mac using the built-in Time Machine utility in case of unforeseen difficulties. Since macOS 10.14 is in beta testing and will probably improve in the future, installing the update, you may encounter several problems, such as fast battery consumption and freezes.
It should be noted that macOS 10.14 Mojave does not support all Mac computers, even from the list of announced models. So, support for early Mac Pro 2010 and 2012 will appear only in future updates.
