How to get the new Notepad in Windows 11

Microsoft since it launched Windows 11, the company has been working on also improving the visual aspect of the applications that run on it. One of the native applications that the Redmonds have modernized is the Notepad for Windows 11, which we have already seen with a new and striking interface.

How to get the new Notepad right away

Currently the new version of the application is available at Windows Insider on the Dev ChannelHowever, with just a few steps we can have it available immediately in the stable version of Windows 11.

Below we will provide you with the steps to follow in order to have the new Notepad in the stable version of Windows 11:

  • The first thing is to download the new Notepad
  • The second thing is to open PowerShell as administrator and copy and paste the following string changing the path to the folder where you downloaded the file and the file name and dates Enter: Add-AppxPackage -path C: FolderPath filename .Msixbundle

When the procedure is finished, the new version of the application will be available, running on its stable version of Windows 11.
